About
Built for the work
Liber 777 was first published in 1909 by Aleister Crowley as a systematic index of Hermetic Qabalah correspondences. For over a century it has been the standard reference for researchers and practitioners of Western Esotericism.
The system is dense — 32 rows, hundreds of columns, spanning divine names, paths, planets, Tarot Atu, colors, perfumes, weapons, and more. Cross-referencing it manually means constant page-turning and context loss.
Symbolum brings the full normalized dataset to your pocket. Every sephira, every path, every cell — interconnected and instantly reachable. The correspondences remain; the methods of study evolve.
Entries follow Liber 777 Revised: Crowley's original tables plus the additions he left in his notes on the columns (shown in the app as additional). Where he later corrected the printed tables — notably the exchange of The Star and The Emperor (Heh / Tzaddi) in The Book of Thoth — the app follows that later attribution. Tarot titles follow the Thoth deck, not the older names printed in 777. Alternative systems remain outside scope.
